Privacy Policy
In short: Water Break does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no servers, no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it makes no network requests.
What the extension stores
- Settings (reminder interval, how long the reminder stays, daily goal, cup size, reminder days, quiet hours, language and theme) are stored with
chrome.storage.sync. If you are signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Chrome may sync these settings between your devices under Google's own privacy policy. The developer never receives them. - Your water log (today's total in ml, the time of your last drink, the last 14 days of daily totals, and a count of reminders shown) and whether the intro tour has been shown are stored with
chrome.storage.localon your device only.
Access to web pages
To show the reminder on the page you are viewing, the extension runs a small content script on http and https pages. The script only creates and removes the reminder card. It does not read, collect, store or transmit page content, URLs, form data or browsing history.
Notifications
On pages where the reminder card cannot be shown (for example chrome:// pages, the new tab page or the PDF viewer), Water Break shows a system notification instead.
Third parties
None. The extension does not load remote code, fonts, images, analytics or advertising, and it does not send data to any third party.
Your control
- Uninstalling the extension removes the data stored on your device.
- You can clear its data at any time from
chrome://extensions. - Synced settings can be cleared from your Chrome sync settings.
Children
Water Break does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
